How to pick a puppy
Selection of your puppy may take place in person or you might need to rely on the breeders input to select from photos and videos. It's important to know beforehand which characteristics are important to you and your family.

It's important to understand the needs and traits of a lab before bringing a puppy home. As with every breed, they have specific needs and personalities and these should align with your family before making this decision.

Consider the personality type you are looking for in your puppy. Are you hoping for an eager to please pup or a more independent pup? Do you want a quieter puppy or are you looking for a more outgoing puppy? Do you have a male or female preference? Discuss the personality types in the litter with the breeder.
interaction and overall health
If you are selecting the puppy in person, interact with each available puppy to see their reaction. Pick them up, cradle them in your arms, touch their paws and bodies. Check their overall health. If selecting from a distance, your breeder should have a very detailed knowledge on each puppy and their traits.
